A simple to make soda bread.

1. Preheat the oven to 200C/180C fan/Gas 6 and grease a baking tray with butter. (See note below)
2. Mix all the bread ingredients together in a large bowl until a soft sticky dough is formed. Place the dough on a lightly floured surface and form into a round. Sprinkle the additional 1 tbsp of oats on top and transfer to the baking tray.
3 Bake for around 35 - 40 mins, or until golden brown and the bread sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom. Place on a wire rack to cool.
Note. As the dough can be very sticky and hard to handle, if you have a silicon bread mould, or a lekue bread maker the dough can be poured directly into that.
