No yeast quick flatbread - perfect for curry accompaniment! Based on Vegan Richa original recipe.

Ingredients

  • 125gPlain flour
  • 0.13tspBaking soda
  • 1tspBaking powder
  • 0.33tspSalt
  • 0.33tspGarlic powder
  • 2tspoil
  • 3tbspVegan yoghurt (coco collab works well)
  • 2.5tbspNon dairy milk
  • 0.5tspLemon juice
  • Garlic butter

Instructions

    Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl

    Combine milk and lemon juice and add to dry ingredients

  3. 3

    Add remaining wet ingredients to bowl

  4. 4

    Mix well and knead for a minute, adding a little flour if too sticky

    Cover bowl and sit for 5 mins

    Divide dough into 4 balls

    Heat a skillet over med high heat

  8. 8

    Roll dough into circle shapes and add to skillet one at a time

  9. 9

    Cover immediately and allow bubbles to form on bread (1-2 mins)

    Turn over and cover - cook for a further minute

  11. 11

    Add garlic butter to the cooked bread and keep in a warm oven/air fryer whilst you cook the remaining breads.
