Minted peas

Tasty and very simple alternative to just peas! Great as a side with tofish or salt and pepper tofu.

  • Cook: 10 mins
  • Yields: 2 side servings


1 tsp rapeseed oil

1 large shallot (2-3 smaller) finely chopped

1-2 cloves of garlic (to taste) finely chopped or minced

250g frozen garden peas (defrosted and lightly crushed with fork or masher)

1 small bunch of fresh mint (finely chopped)

salt & pepper


1Add shallot to oil in a pan and cook for a few minutes

2Add garlic for another few minutes

3Add peas for another few minutes until heated through

4Add mint and season
