Double Choc & Nut Cookies

Pret-style cookies - So good!!

Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

43g caster sugar (I used golden)

112g soft light brown sugar

4g salt

40g nuts roughly chopped (I used a mix of walnut and pecan as that's what I had but almond or most other would work really well)

112g dark chocolate, chopped

205g plain flour (I used wholewheat)

20g cocoa powder

1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda

Wet Ingredients

65g coconut oil melted

72g nut butter (I used peanut but almond works very well too)

100g golden syrup

40g water

Directions

1Preheat oven to 180 degrees C and prepare baking trays with greaseproof paper

2Mix wet and dry ingredients separately and then combine

3Bring dough together (using hands is the easiest way) and split into 8 balls

4Flatten balls with the palm of hand and place on tray

5Cook for 8-10 minutes and then leave to cool for 15 mins before eating
