
Cauliflower Steak
The vegan answer to steak night!
Ingredients

- 1Cauliflower
- 2tspsmoked paprika
- 2tspcumin
- 2tspgarlic powder
- 1.5tspturmeric
- 1.5tspsalt
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1lemons (zest & juice)
- 1tbspvinegar
- 3cloves garlic
- 1green chilli
- large bunch coriander (inc. stalks)
- sliced red onions
- Plus cauli rice, chips, potatoes - the choice is yours!

Cut the cauliflower in to two steaks about an inch wide - add a third if you can! (use the stalk as a base & save all the excess cauliflower to make cauliflower rice!)

Put the spices & vegetable oil into a bowl & mix them all round to make a marinade
- 3
Cover the steaks in the marinade & bake them for 40 minutes at a very high temperature (220℃ (420℉). Be sure to turn them regularly (and carefully) so they don't stick

Put the coriander sauce ingredients in a food processor & whizz them up into a sauce
- 5
Take the steaks out of the oven & serve with the sauce and red onions
