
King Oyster Mushroom Bacon
This is the most basic, and yet the best, vegan bacon recipe I have found!
Ingredients

- 3King oyster mushrooms
- 1tbspRapeseed oil
- 1tspSesame oil
- 0.75 tsp Liquid smoke
- 0.5 tsp Smoked paprika
- 0.25 tsp Salt

Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees C

Mix marinade ingredients in large bowl

Thinly slice mushrooms - there will be different sizes and thicknesses and that is fine - it adds to the end texture

Add mushrooms to marinade and mix until there is a thin layer of marinade coating the mushrooms

Lay out mushrooms on greaseproof papered tray and cook for around 15 minutes, check and turn mushrooms at around 7 mins

When ready the smaller slices will be crispy and the larger slices chewy
